WAYNE is at 19-6 (76%) for the season and is on a PERFECT 8-0 week in all games. Tonight is “As good as it gets”! The Man with 35 years tormenting Vegas sports books is WINNING THIS GAME. The Best of the Best of the Month.

Contrarian—-Tampa Bay

The Rams are 2-5 in their last seven on the road and this cross country contest looms large. The Rams have had their issues going east for games this season, losing to Miami and Buffalo. The Bucs won a 55-40 shootout on the road in the most recent meeting on September 29, 2019. This one is going to be interesting as the Rams are second in the league in total defense while Tampa Bay is third in that category. Both teams have done a solid job slowing down opposing teams and it’s going to be a task for the offenses to come up with sustained drives that lead to points. The Rams have been solid with the run game, piling up more than 100 yards on the ground in eight of their nine games, however Tampa Bay is leading the league in run defense as they allow 76.6 yards per game on the ground while also leading the league by allowing just 3.3 yards per carry. Los Angeles does have a question mark at the kicking spot as Kai Forbath was placed on IR, leaving a one-day kicking competition to determine if Austin MacGinnis or Matt Gay will get the job. Tampa Bay is tough and experienced on both sides of the ball, not to mention being at home. After Tom Brady’s worst performance of his career, he rebounded against Carolina. The Buccaneers rolled up a commanding 544-187 edge in total offense, piled up 30 first downs while allowing 13 and dominated time of possession by a 36:05 to 23:55 margin to erase any lingering thoughts about his previous game embarrassing
contest. Tom Brady has completed 254 of 385 passes for 2,739 yards with 23 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Give the Buccaneers the edge as they earn the win between a touchdown to fourteen points in a solid victory.

Indianapolis Colts -1.5

A downgraded strength of schedule for Green Bay plays into the hands of the Indianapolis Colts. Defensively they rank second in the NFL, allowing an average of under two hundred passing yards per game. Expect Aaron Rodgers to press after a few miscues and for the Colts to pound the football with an under rated ground game. Take Indianapolis

Cincinnati +1.5

Last Sunday the Bengals three-game streak of ATS covers ended against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now they’ll head on the road for a second consecutive week to face the Washington Redskins. Fifteen years separate both top picks in Alex Smith and Joe Burrow, yet it’s Burrow that has more starts in his current system. Grab the Bengals to cash as the slight underdog.

Dallas +7

Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings may get a dose of their own medicine against the Dallas Cowboys. Both teams had losing streaks coming out of their bye weeks and were touchdown underdogs. Minnesota may be 3-0 in the division, but outside the NFC North they are just 1-5. Expect the play calling to put Dallas in a safe spot ATS as it did against the Steelers. Play the Cowboys.

Saturday, a battle of one win teams will take place in the Big Ten between Illinois and Nebraska. Despite averaging twenty points this season the Cornhuskers find themselves as steep favorites. Offensive improvement with a quarterback switch to freshman Luke McCaffrey should continue to blossom. Grab the Huskers to cruise at home against the Fighting Illini.

10*Megabucks Wisconsin at Michigan 7:30 ET

Wolverines (+) over Badgers- Wisconsin opened the year with one of the most dominating performances of this cockeyed season destroying hapless Illinois 45-7. The Badgers held the Illini to just 218 total yards which is best in the nation with just one game played. Michigan of course has garnered plenty of attention having lost two straight after an opening win over Minnesota as they fell to rival Michigan State and last week to Indiana who they had defeated 22 straight times. The media is starting to pressure Wolves coach Jim Harbaugh as Michigan licks their wounds while Wisconsin has had to deal with COVID issues having games cancelled and being idle for three weeks. After playing an defeating an inferior opponent the Badgers get to pat themselves on the back and lose their competitive edge. The Wolverines are desperate for a win and I expect a huge effort here as the home team is 7-2-1 ATS in the past 10 meetings. Take MICHIGAN!

5*Money Game Oregon at Washington State 7:00 ET

Cougars (+) over Ducks- Oregon who is favored to win the Pac-12 conference and go off to a quick start out-classing Stanford for a convincing 35-14 win while the Cougars opened their season with a 38-28 at Oregon State as Freshman Jayden de Laura accounted for three TD in his college debut. The Ducks won last year’s meetings 37-35 ending a four game losing streak in the series. Wazzu is 10-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings including 5-0 ATS as hosts and are 14-6 ATS in their last 20 at home overall. Take WASHINGTON STATE!

4*Vegas Hotline Oregon State at Washington 11:00 ET

Beavers (+) over Huskies- I always feel that a team with a game under their belt is in better position than a team playing it’s opening game, although this give a chance to view opponents game film. There an interesting storyline concerning the coaches as the Beavers head coach Jonathan Smith was Washington’s OC who raised their scoring over 5-points per game over a four year span and the Huskies offense slipped back to 26 points after his departure. Oregon State on the rise is 7-0 ATS in last seven as road dogs and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 overall. Washington is just 2-7 ATS as hosts in the last nine meetings. Take OREGON STATE!
