Also, I’ve been fading the Royals all season, and it’s worked up to this point—no reason to stop now. The Cubs continue to play good ball, and this is a chance for Gausman to make a promising first impression on his new team. He was brought here to bolster the rotation and improve their odds at a deep playoff run. I’m rolling with the Cubs and the reasonable price.
