These two sides last squared off in 2023, a game Tulane won by 13 points at home. They were also -3.5 favorites in that game, and they come in with momentum on their side. The Green Wave haven’t been blowing teams out by any stretch, but what they have been able to do is find a way to win. Their comeback against Army was nothing short of spectacular, and it showed their mettle. That is something that the Roadrunners lack. UTSA should be able to establish its run game behind Henry, but Tulane is going to bring lots of pressure against the pass, and that is going to force the Roadrunners into making errors. Both sides are equally rested, so no one has an advantage there, and the game is being played indoors, so the weather won’t be a factor either. Now that they’ve qualified for a bowl game, the Green Wave have their eyes on a conference title, and this is one of those must-win games in that process.
