With Week 10 of the 2025 NFL season is in the books, it’s time for some incredibly meaningful and serious games this week.
In Week 10 alone, three top-10 teams went down, none more shocking than the No. 7 Buffalo Bills getting humiliated on the road by the Miami Dolphins by 17 points. The marquee game for us is our No. 2 Seahawks at our No. 1 Rams (two teams that haven't even trailed in a game since Week 6), which certainly could have a significant effect on the future pecking order. Sam Darnold and Matthew Stafford might sling a few passes in that one. It's hardly the only impactful matchup of the week. There are three more meetings of top-10 teams to look forward to: Lions at Eagles, Chiefs at Broncos and Buccaneers at Bills.
1 - Los Angeles Rams (7-2)
There are weeks when the Rams look like the best team in the NFL. They got their revenge for an earlier loss to San Francisco and have won 4 straight. Their defense is allowing 11.5 PPG during win streak. The Rams are 4-0 since their last loss while their average margin of victory in those wins is 20.5 points. Matt
Stafford is up to 20 touchdowns and zero interceptions in his last six starts. They have the offense but not a very good defensive secondary.
2 - Seattle Seahawks (7-2)
The Seahawks have a strong case for the top spot but it’s hard not to give the Rams a little more benefit of the doubt. They waxed the Cards by 22, have outscored opponents 129-67 during 4-game win streak. It’ll be very interesting to see how they fare in this weekend’s matchup at SoFi Stadium. The Achilles heel for the Rams is their secondary and Sam Darnold could lite it up.
3 - Philadelphia Eagles (7-2)
The Eagles traded a third-round pick to the Dolphins for edge rusher Jaelan Phillips. Phillips is a terrific pass rusher if he can stay healthy.
Have to be impressed with defense, especially addition of EDGE Jaelan Phillips. Can they score enough to hang with Lions this week? The Eagles have wins over four of the teams ranked in the top 13. Vic Fangio’s defense is a big reason for optimism. But this inconsistent offense is a big reason for skepticism.
4 - Detroit Lions (6-3)
The Lions predictably bounced back from their loss to the Vikings in a big way. Dan Campbell is going to have his team out to prove they can take down the Eagles in Philly this weekend and here’s how. HC Dan Campbell's play-calling brings explosion back to offense but they need to overcome injuries on defense vs. Eagles.
5 - Indianapolis Colts (8-2)
The Colts survived a scare against the Falcons but RB Jonathan Taylor (32-244 yards) planted his MVP flag while QB Daniel Jones struggled again. Since the Colts traded away their next two first-round picks, Daniel Jones has accounted for 10 combined interceptions and fumbles. Jonathan Taylor is able to mask his deficiencies to a big extent but the ball protection reversion is alarming.
6 - New England Patriots (8-2)
The Patriots finally cracked the top-10 with impressive win against Tampa Bay. The Bucs have the lowly Jets, with the Bengals and Giants following. The Pats faced one of their toughest challenges of the season and responded with a big win in Tampa. With the NFL’s easiest remaining schedule ahead, there’s a very viable path to the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoff picture.
7 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-3)
They lost a tight one against the surging Patriots, and they need RB Bucky Irving back badly They’re still an NFC force and have a big game vs. Bills on deck. The Bucs are in the middle of a very tough three-game stretch: vs. Patriots, at Bills, at Rams. They’ll probably still win the NFC South even if they go 0-3. But they can kiss a first-round bye goodbye.
8 - Denver Broncos (8-2)
The Broncos have won 7 straight but only scored 28 points past 2 games. Their offense is questionable but their defense elite. If there’s a bad thing about the Broncos’ 8-2 record, it’s that they’re only 1-1 in division games. If they’re not able to drop the Chiefs to .500, they could very well live to regret it.
9 - Buffalo Bills (6-3)
What an embarrassing loss to Dolphins after beating Chiefs in Week 9. Their offense is too inconsistent. Two of the Bills’ last four games involve multiple-possession losses to the Falcons and Dolphins. It smells like a big fraud in here. I don’t like their coach and it’ll be interesting to see what his team’s game day response will be.
10 - Los Angeles Chargers (7-3)
Don’t look now but the Bolts are 4-1 in their last five games with the loss coming to the Colts. They put up an
impressive defensive effort vs. the Steelers which helped overcome banged-up OL. With the Jags and Raiders up next, they’re in a good spot to reach 9-3 with five games left to play.
