NFL WEEK 12 TOP 10 POWER RANKINGS

The NFL has reached peak NFL as we hit the Week 12 Power Rankings. Five teams — the Dolphins, Panthers, Bears, Texans and Broncos — won on the final play Sunday, which tied the league’s single-day record. Three more teams — the Bills, Packers and Ravens — erased fourth-quarter deficits on the way to victory.

 

It’s important to note that these rankings consider more than just win-loss records and playoff seeding.

With Week 10 of the 2025 NFL season is in the books, it’s time for some incredibly meaningful and serious games this week.

It's rarely clean or easy around here, but when it comes to the Power Rankings, we aim to right wrongs and get everything as correct as we can, even if that means swabbing down the entire deck every few weeks. The Colts, Packers, Chiefs and Lions all went down. A rarity in Top 10 history for four teams to all lose in the same week. 

 

NFL WEEK 9 TOP 10 POLL

Week 9 marks the end of the first half of the 2025 NFL regular season—and so far the season has gone exactly like everyone expected. If by everyone you mean not one person. Sure, there have been teams who have followed the script. The Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions have played well. The Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints have not.

WEEK 7 NFL TOP 10 POWER RANKINGS

Week 6 is in the books, and we have some big changes at the top of the NFL power rankings heading into Week 7.

 

I honestly don't believe there's a clear-cut front-runner. Everyone has flaws. There are no unbeatens, and only four teams have one loss. The Bills and Eagles have each lost two straight. And let's not even talk about the Ravens, Bengals and a few other faded preseason darlings.

There are probably about 15 teams that deserve to be in the Top 10.

Three weeks into the season and I am somewhat disappointed. So many teams that I had such high hopes for have let me down. 

 

In the meantime, I’ll just shuffle my NFL Top 10 again, heading into what I’m sure will be an unpredictable Week 4. Naturally, there was some serious shuffling of the NFL pecking order. As always, I recommend trying not to get too hung up on how many spots a team moved up or down because on any given Sunday, it’s bound to happen. 

 

NFL TOP 10 TEAMS FOR WEEK 3

The NFL has gone full-on setting up some early season crazy races. Some things have gone according to script. We expected the Philadelphia Eagles to be good, and after outlasting the Chiefs in Kansas City, the reigning Super Bowl champions are 2-0. We expected the Cleveland Browns to be bad, and they haven't disappointed after getting their doors blown off in Baltimore to fall to 0-2.But exactly zero people expected the Kansas City Chiefs to be 0-2 for the first time in the Patrick Mahomes era. Or for the Green Bay Packers to look like they belong in the NFL's top 3 team two weeks in.

It’s important to note that these rankings consider more than just win-loss records and playoff seeding. This is why teams with worse records and slimmer playoff hopes may rank higher than those with better records who have managed wins against weaker opponents or delivered inconsistent performances.
